Mailing letters

If you mail a letter, please draw a big $ sign on the front of the letter with an X through it. I just found out the letter won't reach me because customs will take letters hoping their is money inside. It will also help to put a sticker or draw a big Christian cross on the front of the envelope. The country is Eastern Orthodox (future blog idea), so the custom officers most likely will not dig through the envelope if they think there is no money inside and the letter is for religious purposes.

    Just let me know if the first letter gets to you. What about packages? Should we mark them with $ and x. I will not send your gear (coal and sleeping bag, etc.) until you tell me to send. Peanut butter, t-shirts, coffee and tea bags and hand sanitizer in the mail. Love you and miss you. Moma

    Try to find FedEx or DHL for packages, they almost in every town/city in ex-Soviet Union. The same is for Western Union... You just will have to come to the designated post office or bank to pick staff up...

    I sent a package to you and wrote on the envelope "Tons of $ inside -Don't steal"...but inside the envelope was just a picture of me laughing, dressed up in a devil's costume, and pointing at the custom officers. Joke's on them!
